The Scriptures
The Bible is God's inspired Word and the foundation for our faith and daily living.
OUR FOUNDATION
What guides
our faith.
At Antioch Baptist Church, we believe the Bible is our authority for faith and life. The following is a brief introduction to some of our central beliefs. For a fuller statement, we affirm the doctrinal convictions expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message (2000).
02
The Triune God
There is one God who eternally exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
03
Jesus Christ
Jesus is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through His death and resurrection, He offers salvation.
04
Salvation by Grace
We are saved by God's grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, not through our own efforts.
05
The Church
The local church is a fellowship of baptized believers who worship, grow, serve, and share the gospel together.
06
Baptism & the Lord's Supper
We practice believer's baptism by immersion and observe the Lord's Supper in remembrance of Christ.
07
Christian Life & Mission
Followers of Jesus are called to love God and neighbor, make disciples, and serve the world.
08
Our Eternal Hope
Jesus Christ will return, and our hope rests in His promised victory and eternal life.
